“WOW. RACHEL IS INCREDIBLE! WE DON'T EVEN HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW AMAZING OUR WEDDINGS PHOTOS TURNED OUT. BUT WITH RACHEL, ITS NOT JUST THE PHOTOS YOU GET TO LOOK FORWARD TO, ITS THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. SHE IS ONE OF THE MOST KIND AND GENUINE PEOPLE WE'VE HAD PLEASURE OF GETTING TO KNOW. FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL, TO THE WEDDING AND BEYOND, SHE WAS AVAILABLE TO GIVE US ADVICE AND IDEAS. EVEN IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC, RACHEL WAS THERE TO HELP KEEP US ON TRACK, AND HELP US DEAL WITH MOVING OUR DATE. WHEN WE TOLD RACHEL WE STILL WANTED TO HAVE A SMALL INTIMATE BACKYARD WEDDING INSTEAD OF THE LARGE WEDDING WE ORIGINALLY PLANNED, SHE WAS THERE, CAMERA IN HAND, TO CAPTURE EVERY LITTLE DETAIL AND EVERY LITTLE MOMENT EVEN THROUGH ALL THE CHAOS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME WE GET TO WORK WITH RACHEL, AND I PROMISE YOU WILL TOO.”

-JARED + SAM

Jared & Sam were one of the couples affected by COVID-19. While they considered postponing their wedding, they felt that getting married on their original wedding date was so important, even if it meant that their wedding would be much smaller and look different than how they first planned. Sam bought another wedding dress, made her own cake, and they had the wedding in her parents’ backyard. It turned out incredibly gorgeous! I am so glad these two decided to still get married despite all the obstacles in their way—they are an inspiration to other couples to keep chugging along even in the midst of difficulties! Check out their day below.

Sam & Jared’s wedding and story was even featured in Pittsburgh Magazine, which you can read about here:
