What if we are awkward in front of the camera?

You are not the first person to ask me this and certainly not the last! I have worked with many couples, especially grooms, who don’t like having their photo taken or are afraid of appearing awkward. FEAR NOT, because every single time I’ve had these clients, they come back saying what a good time they had and how comfortable it was for both of them! Trust me, I got this. You guys are gonna look AMAZING. <3 Want more proof? Take a look at my reviews. :)

Do you have any client reviews?

YES!! Before I buy anything I am ALWAYS checking Amazon reviews. It should be the same with your photographer!
You can find more reviews on the Knot by going to this link:

OR, if you Google my business,
“Rachel Kunzen Photography”
you can read reviews on my Google listing.

Do you have an assistant or second photographer at weddings?

Almost all weddings I photograph alone, unless the couple wants a second photographer. If this is something you are
unsure about, I would be happy to talk about it further to see if it is something you need.

What is your photography style?

I do my best to incorporate techniques that allow couples to feel comfortable and allow me to capture your genuine personalities, whether that’s being silly or romantic. While I focus on capturing mostly candid images, I do posing from time to time to take advantage of the lighting and location. My goal is always to get a combo of formal (I know, smiling at the camera is SO basic, but it’s a classic that everyone loves), fun, and romantic photos! Basically a little bit of all the goodness. Scan through any of the weddings I have featured on my site, and you will see what I mean. :) My style of editing is more earthy toned, with deeper shadows, but bursting with love, emotion, and heart.

What is the booking process like?

If we are a good fit for one another and you’ve selected your custom package, then I will send over an online contract and an invoice for the non-refundable retainer ($1000 due at signing). Once that is signed and paid, you are officially booked! YAY! :D The remaining amount is due 30 days before your wedding.

Will we meet in person before we book?

Due to my schedule, which generally conflicts with my clients schedule (you are free evenings and weekends which is usually when I am photographing), as well as that most of my clients live an hour away from me, I do not meet clients in person. Just like you, the free time I have in the evenings or the few free weekends, I want to spend them with my husband and the ones I love! You get it. However, I do try to have a phone call with every client that is seriously interested in booking, because I think it helps erase any awkward feelings before the engagement session or wedding day. We will also have another phone call about 4-6 weeks before your wedding so we can go over and confirm the details.

How many images do we get, when do we get them, and how do we get them?

Every wedding is SO different and it depends on things like: how many hours you hire me for, if you add on a second photographer, how many ‘events’ happen throughout your wedding day, etc. Generally, my clients receive anywhere from 500-850 images. You will receive them within 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. You will receive them through an online gallery where you are able to download them from.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I have photographed in PA, OH, IL, WV, NY, NV, and even Iceland! Traveling is one of my FAVORITE things to do, so I would be happy to travel near or far to be a part of your special day. Travel and accommodation fees apply and depend on the specific location.

Do you backup our images?

HECK YES. My camera has two card slots, so I have your images kept on 2 cards. When I get home, I upload the images to my hard drive, as well as my external hard drive. I also have a program running on my computer at all times, which is constantly backing up new photos to an offsite location (basically the cloud). So that’s 5 places total your images are kept.
