These little moments don’t last forever.

That’s why I love encouraging families to book a lifestyle session with me. It’s low pressure, low stress. All I want to do is capture you being you, with those most special to you. I’m not going to ask your little one(s) to sit still for an hour. But I am going to encourage them to run around, wild and free, just as children should be. Because that is when the joy will SHINE from them, and that’s exactly what I want to document. I want to photograph exactly how you interact together. Whether snuggly, giggly, or even teary-eyed from holding your precious babies. It also is a chance for me to document Mom, who often doesn’t find herself in many photos with her fam (cause she’s always the one taking them)! I always try to get at least a couple photographs of you guys (the parents) together.. because without you two, there would be no kiddos! Your relationship is beautiful and what brought your whole family to life. It deserves at least a few candid shots.

Lifestyle sessions begin at $300.

”I found Rachel through a google search and loved the look of her photos! I took a chance and booked her for family photos and absolutely loved them! I honestly loved so many of what she gave us, it was hard to choose which ones were favorites!! That's a great problem to have. She was professional, friendly, spunky and just all around wonderful. She even shook a rattle that I brought the whole time to get my 1 year old's attention! lol. She sent our photos to us in two weeks, so that was great! Love the style/mood of her photography. I would definitely love to use her again in the future!“

“Rachel took our family pictures after my daughter was born. It was such a fun and relaxed experience, and Rachel was calm and creative. It is not always easy to get a toddler to enjoy pictures as well as coordinating a newborn, but Rachel embraced the moments and got such sweet pictures and moments I will treasure always, and have beautiful images on my walls to prove it! I definitely recommend Rachel! ❤️”

Q: What is your photography style?
A: My approach is more documentary and candid. I don’t want to be posing you the whole time, making every image stiff and stuffy. I want families to interact with one another as if I’m not there. I encourage my families to not look at the camera unless I ask them, and to simply enjoy spending time together. Usually doing some activity together can help ease any tension you might be feeling.

Q: Do you have a studio?
A: At this time, I do not have a studio. Family sessions can be done at your home or at another location you choose.

Q: What types of family photos do you offer?
A: Maternity, Birth, Fresh 48, Newborn, Family, Extended Family… basically everything!

Q: How do we receive the images?
A: You will receive the images through a private online photo gallery where you are able to download them. You will also have access to a professional print shop where I recommend my clients print their photos for the highest quality and most accurate colors.

Q: How many images will we receive?
A: Every family session is different, but you can expect to receive anywhere from 75-150 images for a one hour session.

Q: Can we do a shorter session?
A: Due to my approach and style of photography, I only offer one hour sessions at this time. It can take a little while for families to relax and get into a groove when I’m photographing. It’s also good to have some extra time in case a child gets fussy or needs a little break (which has happened before)!
